Employment Contracts and Agreements

The Basic Conditions of Employment Act, in section 29, provides for certain written particulars of employment to be provided as a minimum, and every employer is legally obliged to provide all employees with these minimum particulars in writing not later than the first day of employment – the contract of employment.

Labco assists its members by auditing their contracts of employment and where needed to assist them to develop and introduce employment contracts that are outdated or does not exist at all.
